About Rob Boyle

Originally from Maine, Rob Boyle writes songs built on hook, groove, and story. His records — from Voyeurs and Saints to Small Town Ways — favor clear melodies and lyrics that pair back-porch plainspoken grit with rootsy insight and quiet wit. Live, he mixes his own material with time-tested Americana classics, keeping the set honest and unpolished. Now based in St. Louis, he splits his time between the college classroom and the stage. He is a member at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood.

Everything You Need to Know for Music on the Terrace

  • What: On Saturday, May 30, Concordia will kicked off Music on the Terrace, a series of five monthly live music performances on its outdoor terrace.

  • When: Monthly from May through September on Saturday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Consider attending the 5:00 p.m. worship service and staying afterwards for this fun evening of fellowship.

  • Who: Everyone is invited to attend. Bring a friend! Families are encouraged to attend with their children and play in the grassy area alongside the Terrace as needed.

  • Where: The musicians will play from Concordia's outdoor terrace. Attendees can enjoy the music from the Terrace or the grassy area alongside the Terrace. This is a rain or shine event. If inclement weather occurs, the event will move indoors.

  • What to Bring: Pack a cooler with your own food and drinks. If you're attending the 5:00 p.m. worship service beforehand, bring your cooler inside to the designated area to help keep everything fresh. If you're planning to enjoy the music from the grassy area, bring a lawn chair or a blanket for comfortable seating.
