Concordia’s Summit Seekers Bible Study invites everyone to attend a presentation by Rev. Dr. Linus Otronyi in the Community Room on Sunday, July 19.

Rev. Dr. Linus Otronyi is an ordained pastor with the Lutheran Church of Nigeria and serves as an International Associate with Lutheran Bible Translators. He also serves as a Bible Translation and Scripture Engagement Consultant. His work includes church and community mobilization, training and project management of translation projects. He is currently serving as Regional Director – West Africa, providing both technical and management support for different projects as well as liaising with partners for Bible translation and language development work.

Rev. Linus grew up in the rural village of Iboko, in the Yala-speaking area of northern Cross River State, Nigeria. He studied at the University of Calabar and has been involved in Bible translation work since 2000. Rev. Linus successfully completed his PhD in Translation Studies at Africa International University. He and his wife Katherine have two beautiful daughters and a son.
