This week, Elise Hoehner, a member of Concordia’s youth, leads us in praying over the Call Committee’s search for Concordia’s next senior pastor. The Call Committee is currently accepting nominations from the congregation. Please join her in prayer.

Call Committee Prayer: Week 4

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the reminder this Sunday that You walk with us. Help us to remember that You walk with us in our search for our next senior pastor. We know that no one can be perfect for a big position like this, but we ask that You guide us to a senior pastor that loves You and can follow the Concordia mission to show Your love to our community. The need is great, but the workers are few. Give the Call Committee peace and assurance that You will work through the list they are creating to find our next senior pastor. Give peace also to the youth by reminding them that the plan for Concordia and receiving the next senior pastor is in Your hands. Lastly, please be with our future senior pastor. Help him to continue to grow in Your word and when the time comes that he may be confident in his decision.
