Witness Weekend
During all four worship services this weekend, 9th-grade students will share their personal Confirmation Witness Statements with the congregation in place of the traditional sermon.
Confirmation Brunch
All 9th-grade Confirmation families are invited to a special celebration brunch honoring our confirmands and their commitment to their faith formation.
Rite of Confirmation
Concordia’s 9th grade confirmands will participate in the Rite of Confirmation and publicly and formally affirm their faith during the 11:00 a.m. worship service.
High School Scary Movie Night
Concordia is hosting a Scary Movie Night in the Youth Room for 9th–12th graders, featuring suspenseful fun, snacks, cozy blankets, and s'mores over a fire. It's the perfect autumn hangout to enjoy plenty of thrills without the risk of nightmares!
Turkey Blessing
Men of all ages are encouraged to participate in Concordia’s 12th annual Turkey Blessing event, which will provide full Thanksgiving dinners to local families in need.
High School Friendsgiving
Christ Memorial Lutheran Church is hosting high school youth from Concordia and other local LCMS congregations for a night to connect, give thanks, and enjoy a meal together.
Confirmation Christmas Bash
Join us for our annual Confirmation Christmas Party, where 6th–8th graders will enjoy a pizza dinner, compete in festive games for a chance to win the trophy, and gather for a special holiday story time with "Santa" Pastor Meggers.
Middle School Event: Urban Air
Calling all middle schoolers in 6th-8th grade to meet up at Urban Air Adventure Park for an action-packed evening.
Hands on Kirkwood
In coordination with Hands on Kirkwood's many local volunteer opportunities, Concordia member James Haun will lead a rain-or-shine cleanup at Father Dickson Cemetery.
High School Event: Escape Room + Raising Cane’s
All high schoolers are invited to an evening of friendly competition and great food at Escape from STL followed by Raising Cane’s.
Tailgate & Fellowship
Kick off the first weekend of the NFL season with us! Concordia is hosting a community-wide tailgate, and everyone is invited. Whether you're a die-hard football fan or just looking to enjoy great company, this event is all about fellowship, fun, and a little fundraising.
Incoming Confirmands Bible Blessing
As a welcome to Confirmation, 6th grade students will be invited to come forward during all worship services to receive a Bible and a blessing.
Global Week of Prayer
Concordia is joining hundreds of prayer rooms around the globe for the 24/7 Global Week of Prayer. Throughout the week, we have 192 one-hour slots available for individuals and families to take time to "be still" and proclaim the precious name of Jesus.
All Youth Day
This big day is for all students in 6th through 12th grade. To kick off the new school year, students will enjoy games and learn more about Confirmation and youth group. Don’t miss it!
Bible Gifting
On Sunday, August 16th, parents of incoming Kindergartners and 3rd graders are invited to receive a Bible during any of our Sunday worship services.
Camp Wartburg
Concordia’s youth entering 4th through 8th grade are invited to spend a day at Camp Wartburg where they will deepen their faith and their friendships with team-building, swimming, a scavenger hunt through the woods, and more.
High School Mini Golf
All high school students (both incoming and recent grads) are invited to meet up at Aloha Mini Golf for a fun evening of putt-putt golf.
Middle School Field Day
Incoming 6th through 9th graders are invited to an evening of yard and water games on Concordia’s lawn.
VBS Volunteer Ice Cream Party
In appreciation of their service, Youth VBS Volunteers are invited to enjoy ice cream and a bounce house following the close of VBS.
Family Night
Bring the family and spend the evening in Concordia’s Recreation Center gym. Enjoy fellowship with other families as the kids expend their energy conquering an inflatable obstacle course, playing yard games, indulging in popcorn, and more! Note: You do not have to be registered for VBS to attend.
Vacation Bible School - Concrete & Cranes
Children in kindergarten through 5th grade will spend a week learning about building their lives on the firm foundation of Jesus’ love.
High School Serve & Sundae
This is an opportunity for high school youth to connect while helping with Concordia’s campus beautification projects this summer. After helping move furniture back into CCLS’s classrooms, youth will be treated to Andy’s ice cream.
Middle School Worship Arts Camp
Incoming 5th-8th graders are invited to attend a week-long Worship Arts Camp where they will get to choose between music, art, drama, audio/visual production, photography, dance, and more! There is no cost to attend.
