Lent Worship Services
Lent is a 40-day season of repentance, reflection, and renewal in preparation for Holy Week when we remember Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection. The season begins with Ash Wednesday. Please join us for special worship services at the following times:
Lenten Midweek Worship

11:00 a.m. – Worship in the Sanctuary
6:30-7:00 p.m. – Worship in the Concordia Center

Sunday, March 29
Regular Worship Times:
Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00 a.m.Children should arrive 15 minutes early on Sunday, if they want to participate in the processional.
Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem, when palm branches were placed in His path, before His arrest on Maundy Thursday and His crucifixion on Good Friday.

Thursday, April 2
11 a.m. in the Sanctuary
7 p.m. in the Concordia Center and Live StreamedMaundy Thursday commemorates the "mandate" of Christ’s love through the washing of the disciples' feet, the institution of Holy Communion, and His ultimate submission to God's will in Gethsemane, all of which demonstrate His transformative role as a servant leader for the sake our salvation.

Friday, April 3
11 a.m. in the Sanctuary
7 p.m. in the Concordia Center and Live StreamedGood Friday is a solemn service of reflection where we extinguish candles to observe a "service of darkness" in honor Christ’s sacrifical death for our sins so that we may receive forgiveness, life, and salvation through Jesus.

Saturday, April 4
5 p.m. in the SanctuaryThe Easter Vigil is a journey from darkness to light that recounts God’s work of creation and re-creation, celebrates Christ’s victory over death, and invites believers to share the Sacrament of Holy Communion and renew their baptismal promises while keeping watch for His promised return.

Sunday, April 5
8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary
9:30 and 11 a.m. in the Concordia Center
The 9:30 a.m. service will be live streamed.The Christian faith is founded on Jesus' resurrection from the dead. Jesus is the one He had proclaimed Himself to be: God's Messiah, our Savior. In Him we have a life that is stronger than death and every reason to celebrate!
Soup’s On Every Wednesday
After the Midday Lent Service
Everyone is invited to enjoy a delicious lunch of hot soup, fresh bread, and sweet treats following the 11 a.m. Lent worship services, beginning on February 25.

There is no charge for this event, but there will be an opportunity for a freewill offering.
