As Concordia’s Call Committee prepares to accept Senior Pastor nominations from the congregation, Nate Schmoll leads us in a prayer asking the Holy Spirit to guide us in the consideration of these names. Call Committee Prayer: Week 2

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the incredible miracle of Easter we just celebrated with great joy. We ask you this week for an intentional focus on the Holy Spirit and the names that He might bring forth to our minds as a consideration for our next Senior Pastor. Please allow us to take some time out of our busy schedules this week and give Your Spirit space to speak. Help us to be responsible in sharing the names with the call committee as they enter our minds. We pray for the many people whose names you will provide to us and ask that You would lovingly watch over all the names we consider. Help us to trust in Your control and guidance in this process. Please give us patience, discernment, humility, and confidence in the power of prayer and connection with Your Spirit. As always, let the Holy Spirit work through our hearts and in our minds, that He might bring all glory, honor, and praise to Your Holy name. Amen.
