Welcome New Families - July 2026

This past weekend, Concordia welcomed new families to the congregation. Get to know these new faces, and extend a warm welcome when you see them.

The Cousineau Family

Will and Macy moved to Kirkwood in April after living in Springfield, Illinois, for more than 20 years. They were longtime active members of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. They have four children, two of whom are grown. Their three daughters were adopted from Latvia in 2014, when they were 4, 6, and 8 years old. Still at home are Ieva, an incoming junior at Kirkwood High School, and Finn, a fourth grader who will begin attending TPH Soccer Academy this fall. The family enjoys getting to know the area and spending time outdoors hiking, walking, and biking.

The Morris Family

Gary is a retired chiropractor who volunteers at the National Museum of Transportation and the St. Louis Zoo. During the school year, he serves as the afternoon crosswalk guard at Long Elementary School. Debbie is a retired administrative assistant from Lucent Technologies. She has volunteered with Oasis Literacy as a tutor and their homeowner’s association. They have one daughter and are very involved with their four granddaughters and three granddogs. They plan to attend Lutheran Introduction this fall.

The Ohlms Family

Paul and Ragan live in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis with their son, Bennett, who was born in February. Ragan, previously worked as a sonographer before staying home to raise Bennett full time. Paul works as a CPA for a small firm, enjoys golfing, and never missing a Mizzou home football game. As a family, they love spending time with friends and family, exploring the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market on weekends, and visiting the Missouri Botanical Garden. They will be attending the Lutheran Introduction this Fall.

Will Weaver and Laura Gray

Will and Laura have been dating for almost six years after starting their freshman year of college at Saint Louis University. They both graduated from SLU in 2024. Will works for SLU as a flight instructor in their flight program and intends to become a pilot for a commercial airline. Laura is a civil engineer and works as a transportation analyst at CBB Transportation Engineers and Planners. Will and Laura enjoy hiking, golfing, and spending time with family. Will enjoys working on vehicles and attending car shows. Laura also enjoys dancing and is an east coast swing dance instructor at a local community center. They are planning to get engaged soon and think that Concordia would be a great community to be a part of as they step into a new stage of their relationship. They plan to attend the Lutheran Introduction in the Fall.
